In the centre of Australia you’ll find Uluru (Ayers Rock), named by the Yankunytjatjara and Pitjantjatjara people on Uluru-Kata Tjuta Country.
A visit to “the rock” is almost as Australian as Vegemite on toast, and gives you a chance to connect with the First Nations people of Australia who might invite you to a yarn about the dreamtime while you’re there.
