New Growth
This is an original fine art print from Cam Hemming exclusive to Who is Henri.
About the artwork
The State of Tasmania has a proud history of supplying timber stock to the Australian (and international) building industry.
The industry has moved away from destructive old-growth logging to large scale sustainably managed plantations of its famed Tasmanian Oak and Blackwood species, to the more common Celery Top Pine, Myrtle, Sassafras, Huon Pine and Radiata Pine.
In this work, the rigid lines of the plantation’s canopy sit in juxtaposition to the natural contours of the earth achieving the greatest possible efficiency in planting and logging in the coming years.
This is an original fine art print from Cam Hemming exclusive to Who is Henri.
